Good Season! Good Team!
I’ve been looking at Hockey differently more and more as I age. This is the job of the players and the organizations. It’s just like we do everyday, we work our asses off. We want our organizations and clients to succeed, but we are all human. The difference is that there are people with cameras in Hockey players face where as in our case we don’t have that scrutiny. That is why my respect for Brady is growing after this series and interview. He is not hiding the dis-appointment. But he is also acknowledging that everyone in the team is a part of the success. That is what our teams are, teams! Habs, Sens, Liverpool, Man U, it’s the collective, not the individual. Stars make a difference, but the team is what wins. This is what the structure of an organization like the Leafs just doesn’t get. Win at all costs burns your guys out and makes them play like garbage, just like in any company or place. When you think of the players as people, that is what changes. People have good days and bad. Players aren’t allowed that. I am glad that I root for a team of people.
